Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your account in Merienda (developer: Exnec), and what happens to your data.

Delete it in the app

1. Open Merienda and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete Account at the bottom.
3. Confirm. The deletion happens at once.

Ask us to delete it, without the app

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject Delete my Merienda account. Send it from the email address of your account. If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, tell us the name on the account and we will find it with you.

We reply to confirm that the request comes from you, and we delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What we delete

Your account and profile (name, email, birth date, sex, height, weight, goals and preferences), your meals and meal photos, drinks, weigh-ins, activity records, recipes, achievements and your consent records.

What we keep

Nothing that identifies you stays in Merienda. Two things are outside our control:

• Apple or Google keep their own records of your purchases, as their billing and tax rules require.
• Usage statistics in Firebase Analytics are linked only to a random app ID, not to your account, and they expire on their own.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first in the App Store (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions), or you will still be charged.

If you signed in with Apple, you can also remove Merienda in your Apple Account settings under Sign in with Apple.
